Today was a bitter sweet one. First, the bitter. We woke up early today to go to Birmingham to meet my brother and mom. The purpose of this trip was to take Dylon to them to keep while we are gone. It was hard. As we said goodbye, he cried, grabbed our necks, and did not want to leave us. We said our goodbyes, and when we checked on him, he was doing well. It is hard to leave your child for two weeks. We know that he will be well taken care of, so that will make things a lot easier. I want to thank my parents, brother, and my friend Lacey, as they will be taking care of one of my most valuable possessions.
Now for the sweet part. We are only a day and a half away from leaving for Belize. We will be driving to Atlanta tomorrow. We will stay in a motel tomorrow night and be on our flight at 6:45am on Saturday. We will be updating our blog nightly, so please check in with us daily. Grace and Peace,
