Belize day 8

Today was the last day of last week's group.  Woke up to a downpour at 5:16am.  Went back to sleep for about 45 minutes and it had stopped raining.  Ate breakfast and took a group photo.  We then saw the group off for the airport.  When they left, I drove several of the ones of us who stayed for this comming week to the Belize zoo.  We were also able to take the Reyes Girls, Catarina, and Marcos and Yolanda with us.  While we were there we had to run for cover a few times, but it was a really nice zoo.  That is, the zoo is nice, but some of the animals aren't.  We lost an umbrella to the Puma (aka: Mountain Lion, Panther, etc).  they have an impressive collection of animals.  We returned and had some tacos at a road side stand.  They were amazing!  We returned just before the new group arrived.  I think God may be opening some doors.  I will not say anthing more about that until I know more.  I woul hate to get our hopes up and crush them, but It looks like God may have put some of the right people in the right placed.  Well, we welcomed them in, ate dinner, and had devotionals and now it is time to go to sleep.  Have a good night.

Grace and Peace,
Darin Linkins and family.
