Belize Day 9

This morning I had the opportunity to share with the youth of Faith Baptist Church in Roaring Creek, Belize.  It is a small church with a big heart in the Body and Soul Compound that we are staying at.  I discussed how when we feel like we have sinned so much that God must have left us, we are breaking fellowship by building a wall of sin between us and God.  We cannot see him anymore b/c of the sin that is blocking us from seeing God work.  However when we Humble ourselves and cry out to God to help us, he will break through the wall, run to us, pick us up and hug us and say "My Child, I love you"

We ended the lesson with a chance for the ones that felt called to accept Christ into their hearts.  We had 8 decisions!  Praise God!  Tonight we went back.  We sang and worshipped with them and then our pastor gave a message and 3 more people came down to accept Christ as savior.  11 saved on this week already and only into the second day!  I think this will be a good week.

Please pray that God will work in me to reach these children.  When I get tired I tend to get grumpy.  I am really trying not to do so.  Also, Please pray that God will work certain things out.  I don't want to go into too much detail, but one of the guys here on our trip is one of the guys on the North American Baptist Mission Board.  They were given 100 acres to build on and do not know what they are gonna put on it.
