On Tuesday, the weather was putting the internet on the fritz, so I am updating this a bit late. We woke up to more rain, but by the time we got to camp it stopped. We had cloudy skies, but no rain. We got the best news we could have gotten here. The father of the little boy we sponsor for school came to camp with his family. He listened to the Gospel presented and he received Christ as his savior. When we left camp a group of us went to Crooked Tree, Belize and met a former pastor of the Baptist church there. He is on his death bed. His name is Owen Rhaburn. He could barely raise his eyelids, but when we sang the words "I will rise, when he calls my name" He put his feeble hand in the air. The next two hours were the absolute best 2 hours in my life. What an inspiration. They are spending their 64th wedding anniversary today, Wednesday. We left crooked tree with an inspiration and a fire in our hearts. We returned home for dinner and then we had several guys from neighboring villages in for mens devotional. If you will remember I told you about the man that I met that had been sentenced to 41 yrs in prison. He showed up for the Bible study. It was a wonderful time. This
two weeks in Belize have blown me away. I can tell that people are back home praying for us. thank you.
