We are starting our fund raisers. Our first one was today. We did a car wash at our church today. A few friends of our kids came out and helped hold signs and wash cars. It was a good time and we even had a lady that came by and took some pictures of us washing her car so we could post them up. I thank Ms. Jen Karn for these photos. I need to remember to bring my
camera the rest of the weekend. Being a Thursday
morning, with the weather threatening to change for the worst, we didn't have a whole lot of people come out, but it was pretty good and God showed up and made it a success. I know that God is going to show up and bless this weekend. I know that God is going to provide for the needs of this trip.
Please pray about what the Lord will have you do to
Partner with us in taking the Gospel to Belize. As I stated previously, we have a long way to go and a short time to get there, but we are trusting God to provide everything we will need. We have seen Him do it in the past and are excited to see Him work this year as well. Allow God to use you to do His work. We are humbled and blessed that God would choose us to do this work. We are also humbled and blessed that you are willing to allow God to use you by supporting our work there. God is working, you are helping, and we are excited to see the harvest this year as we go to Crooked Tree, Belize this summer. Please pray for the people that we will come into contact with.
One thing we are working on in the way of fund raising is to adopt a village. In the next few days I will be posting an update with a map of Belize. We would like you to "Purchase" a village. There is no set price per village, but it is a way that you can support the work and will give you a specific area for you to pray for in this country. More than one person can buy a village, but this will give you an opportunity to be active in this ministry opportunity. Be praying over the next couple of days that God will show you which village to purchase. When I put the map up, look at the highlighted villages and send me an email as to which one you want to purchase and also the purchase price. Thank you again for your continued prayer and financial support.
